Vasileios Martinos was born in Athens in October 1971. He was accepted at the Medical School of "Tor Vergata" University of Rome, Italy, in September of 1994.
He completed his graduate thesis on Functional Neurosurgery in the surgical treatment of Parkinson's disease under the supervision of Prof. Fiorenzo Battaini and Prof. Bernardo Fraioli.
